Body Corporate Business Names or Trading names, relate to Limited Companies. Many people confuse registering a body corporate business name with actually registering the name of your company.

A trading name is used if the company intends on trading under a name that is different from its actual name. For example if your company is called XYZ Enterprises Limited but was trading under Clearview Windows, then Clearview Windows would need to be registered as a trading name associated to XYZ Enterprises Limited. It is still the same company/business just another name it can trade under.
